​The Shoshone Rest Area and RV Dump Station is located approximately 63 miles from the city of Coeur d’Alene, ID.

 

Prices: $8 for RV dump station.

 

Directions: From Coeur d’Alene, travel east on Interstate 90 and take the Kingston Exit #43. Turn left and travel north following the paved Forest Service Road #9 for 17 miles to the small town of Prichard, then continue 5 miles on paved Forest Road #208. The Rest Area will be on the right.  See map below.

 

Open Dates: Opens a week before Memorial Day weekend (on Friday), closes the last Monday in September.

 

Amenities: Drinking water, vault toilet, dual bay RV dump station.  No garbage service - if you pack it in, please pack it out.

 

Nearby: Several campgrounds in the Coeur d’Alene River Complex are nearby.  The closest is Kit Price Campground, which is three miles away.
