Located in the Rio Grande National Forest of Colorado, Lake Fork Campground is among aspen and mixed conifer trees and adjacent to the fast-moving Conejos River. The campground has 19 sites, 10 of which can be reserved at recreation.gov. Some sites overlook the river.
Nearby can be found several trails, the resort community of Platoro and the Platoro Reservoir. There is an RV dump station 9.8 miles south of the campground, at Brummell's Rocky Mountain Lodge, where you can empty your waste tanks for a fee.
